Jackson Carter (he/him) is a PURE student in the CGK lab since joining in October 2025. Jackson is a current senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point studying psychology with a neuroscience minor. During his time there, Jackson has worked in the labs of Drs. Jennifer Bray and Heather Molenda-Figueira exploring the ultrastructure of a mouse pituitary gland and hormone-disrupting chemicals and the effects on maternal behavior. He is focused on gaining experience and expertise to pursue a PhD in neuroscience beginning in Fall 2026. Outside of the lab, Jackson enjoys bowling, playing volleyball, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the beauty of Wisconsin seasons.

An axolotl because then I could regenerate limbs or even parts of the brain.

I would love super speed so that I can do many more things each day.

Forensic psychologist
